...can one buy a 7' tall skeleton at the local drug store. It was on sale too!

Makes me wish Halloween came more than once a year.

Halloween stuff has been very cool this year. I've seen a lot of things that have actually been pretty good quality, rather than being really cheesy and cheap looking.

The only things I've bought this year though are a bunch of halloween socks, and a beanie tarantula and ghoul/ghost thing, to go with the witch I bought a couple of years ago.

It is a shame that halloween is only once a year. What's funny is the fact that a lot of stores are already trotting out their christmas decorations and artificial trees and such. It's odd going into a store and seeing halloween decorations next to a plush santa and a fake tree strung with tinsel.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'll post pics when I get home from work. I'm stopping off at a couple of places after I get out of here to search for infernal parade, so hopefully I'll have toy haul pics too.

I haven't played NWN yet..my PC died before I had the chance to install it on that one. I have another computer now, but it has a DVD-ROM that's being a real bitch about installing certain games and software..I need to get my old cd-r into that machine.

Oh man, I'm glad this topic was brought up. I'm always on the hunt this time of year. Here's something I grabbed at Big Lots weeks ago:

A 4-legged skull bowl, complete with useless articulation at the ankles. I honestly dunno what I'm gonna use it for, but I'll be damned if it don't look cool!

    skullthing

Actually I've thought about putting some bone-crafted steering wheel in it, along with some crazy custom Baba Yaga figure. Even though she flew around in a pot and lived in a chicken legged house, I don't think she'd deny a ride in this 4-legged skull of maximum groovdom.
